"We've tried to have some interesting summer programs, we had a, this year we had a career institute. It was only three weeks, but we felt one week was focused on engineering degrees, the second was focused on medical degrees and the third law enforcement. So, we brought in experts in all the fields. The kids got to exposed to them, they did a lot of internet research, they went on field trips that were related to the careers. We had one judge offer his courtroom and services and we had an actual trial, so the students really got into what the career was about, so we've tried to focus that on academic readiness and a career and make it interesting for the students."
