"We have put in a teacher leadership core and the teacher leadership core we take twenty five to thirty five teachers every year and they go through a year-long teacher leadership training program with the intention that we can build strong teacher leadership at the campus that will remain regardless of which principal comes in place, that the culture of empowered teachers working to change children’s lives will be there and the new principal can simply help us redirect, find the new ways to put that in place, but that the leadership is at the foundation of the school."
