STAR Project

Pre-College Outreach Center

The STAR initiative is led by the Pre-College Outreach Center (POC), housed at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Support services provided by the POC help to form alliances between students, parents, and colleges. Additionally, the POC focuses on activities that enhance student academic preparation, especially in math and science, accomplished through teacher training, community support, leadership programs and parent information sessions.
