Answering the Casting Call

The only absolute in today's world is that there are no absolutes, but it wouldn't exactly be unfair to say that twelfth grade's a universally busy time for high school soon-to-be graduates. Things get even more hectic when you add extracurricular writing, a part-time job, and memorizing lines, marks, and characters for the sake of the theater on top of all the usual applications and entrance exams. Can't exactly combine "My Fair Lady" with the formula for finding the volume of a cone...probably. But if any kids can handle that kind of load, it's our GEAR UP guys and dolls (see what we did there?). And UTEP Proyecto M.A.S.'s Xavier is a shining example of how to enter "stage awesome"—just see for yourself in the latest "Faces of TXGU" video.

Think Xavier's moments in the spotlight might start to stir your own TXGU'ers' talents? Send them on over to his Hub page, and tell them to enjoy the show.
