Big Picture: There’s a lot going on at Big Future, but it’s all very clearly laid out—easy to follow, great graphics, and a nice variety of information make this a perfect resource for all aspects of college and career readiness. You’ll find informative videos, interactive college-planning tools, and even convenient online college applications.
How It Helps You: Gives you lots of resources, but makes it easy to find and use them. And we’re talking the full package—from why you should go to college, to how to prep, to finding the right school or program, and then how to pay for it.
Must-Use: The interactive college search is pretty powerful—it lets you set a lot of different criteria (even things like athletics opportunities) to get really laser-focused results.
Parent-Friendliness: There’s an EFC calculator you and your parents will find super essential—basically, it’s what colleges use to determine how much money a family should contribute to their kid’s financial-aid package.
Protip: Hit up the Campus Life section if you want to get some inside info on what things will really be like when you get to college—and it’s all from students who’ve just been there.
