You’ve got big college dreams, but what if your parents aren’t totally on board with those dreams? Elvia knows exactly what that’s all about. She wanted a college degree, but her mom wanted her to start working to help support the family instead. There may or may not have been some pretty tense dinner-table conversations involved.

So, what happened? Let Elvia tell you herself how she handled the seriously tough situation. Spoiler: Anyone who’s got some reluctant parents at home should be ready for some legit inspiration…

    If my parents were not on board with my career on what I want to do when I grow up than they are not my real supporters. Family is supposed to stick together and support one another. At the end of the day, if you really want something you have to get it no matter what obstacle is in the way.

    now days if you want something you have to go get it yourself. it is good to have support but it is not a necessity .

    Elvia's mother didn't want her to go to collage because she didn't have the money for it but Elvia wanted to show her that she could still go to collage even with out money.
