Fantastic Face Time

Your college prep can include a massively huge variety of stuff. You’ve got classes to take, tests to study for, and extracurricular activities to stay on top of. If you’re already nailing all of that, we give you major props. But have you given any thought to your interviews? This is totally a big deal. There really isn’t a class to prepare for a face-to-face interview with a college representative. The good news is that there are plenty of people who've gone through this before and are more than willing to share some advice. Case in point: Check out this blog post to learn some crucial dos and don’ts for your college interviews.

For starters, you want to look the part. Dress well, and definitely don’t get too fidgety. Next, you want to make sure you're being true to who you are. When answering questions, don’t ramble on and on—but do make sure your story is informative and entertaining. Practice your handshake, too. Greeting or ending your conversation with a loose, wimpy grip will absolutely not make the impression you want. Ultimately, it's all about relaxing and letting your true self shine through. Colleges aren’t looking for robots. They want super-cool, talented, and engaging kids on their campus. Basically people just like you (yep, we fully realize how awesome you are).
