About a Girl

What do you call a gal who's set to be a first-generation high school graduate, who's already a full-time fast-food whiz, and who perfects her tennis backhand in her spare time? "Brooke" is probably a good start.

This senior from Bryan ISD GEAR UP  is getting some A+ hustling done as she navigates her final year on the path to college—dreaming of helping the public with a nursing degree that you just know she's going to serve up like one of the Williams sisters. Not only is she working hard at school and working hard at Taco Bell (hey, once you've learned to keep smiling through dodging grease burns, you're pretty much ready to handle anything), but she's also setting a shining example for her younger siblings to follow. That's assuming they're not too dazzled by that bright future ahead of her, of course. (Maybe watch her "Faces of TXGU" video with some shades on just to be safe.)

Want your TXGU'ers to learn from Brooke's hard work and college dedication, as well? Send them on over to her Hub page, and let the magic work from there. We know they'll be feeling the inspirational sparks.
