Educators, there’s TXGU’er excellence all around you for sure, but do you ever wonder about the kids a few towns over? Next up in our "Faces of TXGU" series is Andrew from Region One ESC GEAR UP—a bright kid with a real spark in his eye (although that could also be from his amazing welding skills), and an incredibly encouraging sense of gratitude towards the TXGU program and his mentor, the superintendent of his district.

Superintendent Alejandro had this to say about our video star: “Whatever the future holds…I feel good about it, because kids like Andrew are going to be our future leaders.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves—but luckily we just happen to have a video to say it for us! Share it with your students today so they get to know another TXGU kid whose life might just have a lot in common with their own.
